Bonefish are one of the most exciting fish. You stand on the front of the flats boat with your bonefish fly in your hand searching. You and the guide are working as a team because they are so hard to spot with their mirrored scales. Then the call comes Bonefish 10 o'clock 50 feet. In the next few seconds you have to get the bonefish fly in front of the fish without spooking it. Never mind the wind is blowing and your adrenaline is pumping, make the perfect 50 foot cast now! When it all comes together you have a piece of lightening at the end of your line. Whether it is a 2 lber or a double digit Bonefish will get into your backing and test your knots. Bonefish flies come in a wide variety of colors and patterns to match the wide range of habitats that bonefish are found in.Usually a good selection of colors and sizes will do the trick.
